Hello and welcome once again to the land of non-profits. Every trip down EatStreet ends with the choice to direct a small donation to a local non-profit. Today I’d like to introduce you to one of those non-profits–Best Buddies of the Greater Milwaukee area, where individuals with and without disabilities have been given an important gift–the gift of friendship.
It’s that time of year: the birds are out, the sun is shining, and families are gathering around grills and cooking summery (summerish?) food. Yet, there are times when laboring for your dinner just won’t do. On those hot summer nights when grilling seems like a chore and all you really want is some relaxation, let someone else take care of the cooking.
Ashley’s Bar-B-Que in Milwaukee, WI, is just the answer for your backyard barbecue cravings. Since Thomas Ashley Sr. founded Ashley’s in the late 1960’s, the restaurant has been famous all over southeastern Wisconsin for tangy and flavorful sauces, crisp coleslaw, and meaty, fall-off-the-bone ribs. Ashley’s offers a vast array of barbecue options, as well as fish, chicken, and burgers. Delivery is available by phone to anywhere in Milwaukee County (in other words, prepare to never fire up your grill again).
